$39 Billion Loss

How safe is our nation's produce supply? Did you know that according to a recent study, by the Produce Safety Project, that there is nearly $39 Billion loss annually attributed to produce? This study was released in March of 2010 by the PSP as part of a report on the foodborne illness costs to our nation. A staggering annual cost of $152 Billion for all foodborne illness costs.
